Prayer Thoughts for July Pray for safe travel for everyone traveling to and from the convention. Pray for God to speak to the hearts of each person involved in the convention.  Pray for the grants that are on the ballot that God’s will be done in the choices made. Pray for God’s will to be accomplished in the choosing of the candidates running for office. Pray for the beautiful feet God has chosen to do his work here on earth.   Pray for God’s Glory to reign throughout the Convention 2010  And forever and forever.  Amen. Print Prayer Page for July

Prayer Thoughts for June Pray for the committees as they begin final preparations. Pray for the hotel personnel and the workers that will be hired to work behind the scenes of the convention.  Pray that their hearts and ears will be opened to hear about the grace, love and forgiveness of our Lord and Savior through our presentations, speakers, music and most of all our actions and reactions. Pray for President Cheri as she finalizes her convention manuscript.  Pray for good health and energy for her through the convention. Pray for the registration committee and district secretary as they combine their efforts for exact total counts for each ballot. Go back though the list or your pray booklet and pray for those God leads you to pray for. Pray for the unknowns- is there something we forgot.  Lord, bring it to mind. Prayer Thoughts for May Pray for the committees as they begin final preparations. Pray for safe travels as the committees journey to the Dearborn Hyatt May 15, the site of May’s planning meeting.   Pray that people will continue to volunteer for the committees still needing workers.   Open the hearts of the women in the district to attend at least some part of the convention.   Pray for the delegates as they attend caucuses and begin to make their choices in voting. Pray for our Proclaimer: Rev. Car Gnewuch, Convention Music Leaders: Cindy Gnewuch & Katie Priskorn, Keynote Speaker: Ida Mall, Bible Study Leader: Linda Riser, Jan Struck, our Saturday evening entertainment and convention interrupter as they prepare their material to present to us.   Pray for the unknowns- is there something we forgot.  Lord, bring it to mind. Prayer Thoughts for April Pray to open the hearts of Michigan LC-MS woman to come to the Convention. Continue to pray for the Zone Presidents and societies as they choose the delegates for the Convention. Pray for God’s Will to be followed by the delegates in the decisions that they will be asked to make at Convention. Pray for the registration committee as they begin to receive convention registrations. Pray for the floor committee and the wardrobe committee. Pray that deadlines are met. Prayer Thoughts for March   Pray for the district Board of Directors Meeting, Saturday, March 6, at St. John’s in Amelith at Bay City. Pray for the Zone Presidents as they receive and distribute the delegate forms. Pray that the societies follow God’s Will as they choose their delegates. Pray that deadlines are met. Pray for the VP of Communications as she readies the Convention Manual. Pray for the ladies and pastor who accepted the nominations for the positions being vacated at the convention this year. Prayer Thoughts for February    Pray for President Cheri as she continues to make plans for the Convention. Pray for the MI District Executive Committee as they meet Saturday Feb. 13. Pray for the Convention Secretary, the walk/run committee and the worship committee. Pray for the Convention Planning Meeting Feb. 20. Begin praying for the District Board of Director’s Meeting, March 6 @ St. John’s at Amelith in Bay City. Prayer of thanksgiving for the Zone and District Counselors and pray that they are blessed with good health as they begin a time of added services. Pray for your LWML Sisters in Christ.
