What is LWML in Action?
LWML in Action is the official publication of the Michigan District Lutheran
Women’s Missionary League (LWML).

It includes information concerning upcoming District events and interesting news from the zones and societies around the state. A single copy is mailed to each LWML society and is to be shared among the women of the society. To give more women an opportunity to read this newsletter, the publication may be downloaded from the website or received at your address by subscription.

The Mission of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League

is to assist each woman in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with
the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

The Mission of the Michigan District LWML Board of Directors

is to educate, advise, and inspire  women of the Michigan District in affirming their relationship to
the Triune God so that they may be enabled to use their gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

The Mission of the Executive Committee of the Michigan District LWML

is to use their God-given gifts to lead and assist the Board of Directors in transacting its business
efficiently and effectively to God’s glory.
