 A Faithful Shepherd is My Lord (Psalm23)

This retreat was presented by the LWML South Wisconsin District in 1992 for their 45th anniversary. It is a retreat with elements for celebrating a district’s anniversary.

 

 A Time For. . . . (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

In this retreat, prepared by the Oklahoma District LWML Christian Growth Committee in 1995, the participants become aware that time is a gift from God and should be used to its fullest in glory to Him.

 

Be All You Can Be - Do All You Can Do (Matt. 5:3-10)

This 1987 Michigan District Board Retreat studies the Beatitudes, around a theme of honeybees.

 

Body, Mind, & Spirit (Proverbs 15:30)

The 1996 Michigan District Board Retreat focuses on “whole health for the Christian woman, enabling each to see how to use her body, mind, and spirit to serve our Lord better. These elements are gifts from God, and because of that, we should treat them with care and respect.

 

Body Shop (1Corinthians 12:12-27)

God provides for needs that arise through many different members in the body of Christ. Participants find out what part of the Body of Christ they are. This was presented in the Michigan District in 1991.

A Christian Growth and Leadership Institute written in 1963 by the Greater Detroit Zone. With a strong spiritual emphasis, the institute points out the purpose of LWML at the local level, at a personal level and with mission outcomes.

This Bay Midland Zone LWML fall retreat focuses on the world’s confused understanding of love; the Biblical understanding of love; and what understanding the Love of Christ means to us.

 

Freedom Is. . . . Freedom Does

This is a study of  five women of the Bible to whom God showed His special grace, favor, and blessing; who then responded and served God in love; and shows ways we, as today’s women, can follow their example. This was presented at the 1976 Grand Rapids Zone Fall Retreat.

This retreat, written by Northern Nebraska District, deals with God’s work in the church, in our worship, in our public relations, in our communities, in our families, and in our personal lives.

This 1999 Michigan District Board Retreat talks of four life cycles of a butterfly and of us. We are transformed daily by God’s power into a new life with Him.
