Month-by-Month Servant Event/Service Projects IdeasServant
events can be carried out at different times of the year. Pick a
Lutheran agency in your area and apply the following guidelines: - Share ideas that reach out in love to a group that is hurting or in need.
- Train leaders how to carry out a plan of collecting and sharing resources
- Enable your local society to reach out and meet the needs of others in their community.
- Share the Bible Study given out at the September Board Meeting with your societies and zone to help encourage service.
Suggested Activities JANUARY:- Be a friend, an encourager, show you care.
- Have Gifts of Love of diapers, and baby items for a Pregnancy Center in your area
- Make lap robes, walker bags, bibs and Bible Storybooks for elderly shut- ins or those in a nursing home.
- Remember
to pray for those in your congregation that are ill physically,
mentally, near death or physically impaired and the sanctity of life.
FEBRUARY:- Send Valentines to veterans or those in your congregation that are over 80 years of age.
- Remember your college students with a Care Package
- Supply new and used Christian reading material around your community (like Portals of Prayer and other Christian publications)
- Remember to pray for those in the Armed Forces, veterans, and college students
MARCH: - Sponsor a Kitchen Shower for a shelter house in your area.
- Invite those new in your community to your Sunday worship
- Volunteer at a local school to tutor a child who needs help with reading.
- Remember to pray for those who are in a shelter because of being homeless or coming from an abusing home.

of the Michigan District LWML Board of Directors
is to educate, advise, and inspire women of the Michigan
District in affirming their relationship to
the Triune God so that they
may be enabled to use their gifts in ministry to the people of the
world.
The
Mission
of the Executive Committee of the Michigan District LWML
is to use their God-given gifts to lead and assist the Board of
Directors in transacting its business
efficiently and effectively to
God’s glory.
