M-76, St. Helen, MI, will be hosting the Timberline Zone Fall Rally on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The theme of the Rally will be, "How Shall They Hear", based on Romans 10:14. Anita Beyersdorf, past LWML District President, will share with us her 2007, first-of-a-lifetime adventure in Alaska teaching Vacation Bible School to Athabaskan children in Allakaket on the Arctic Circle. from the Timberline Zone Spring Rally held at Our Savior, Gladwin on
May 15th. The first photo is of all of us enjoying a terrific
salad luncheon. The second photo is of our in-gathering project,
assembling 50 health kits. The third photo is of the elected and
appointed officers of the Timberline Zone. The theme of our rally
was "Being Good Stewards". Our theme verse was 1 Peter
4:10, "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve
others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various
forms." Our speaker was Carol Caswell, from Our Savior, Hartland,
who taught us some Bible-based truths about "Using Money Wisely".
The "St. Helen Players" performed the skit "L.W.M.L.-What Does This
Mean". It was a great day!
